Ofuku onigiri and boba: Reviews & Ratings
Self serve Boba is a cool concept. I made my own Strawberry Matcha Latte and it was good and not too sweet. The spicy chicken mayo is delicious. I would have took a picture but I ate it all too fast. I usually never open my onigiri correctly. But I followed the instructions to the t on this and it worked. It’s a cute little shop with friendly people. I recommend.
This little shop sells Asian food. They sell popular snack and make it yourself boba. Everything from their egg salad sandwich on that fabulous bread to the hot foods and the wide variety of onigiri and musubi is delicious. And if the onigiri or musubi you want has been sold out, because it happens, they will make it for you. The staff is nice but he patient because they're usually busy. We drive 10 miles when we can go somewhere closer to home but it is worth! We usually buy a lot too at least 3 onigiri each which are about $5 each. There's no place to sit so it's strictly a take out place.
This is a cute little spot! Good selection of food, snack, treat, and drink options. I got the spicy tuna and the spicy mayo salmon onigiri. They were yummy, I wish they had more meat than a thin line though. I also got a coffee cake that was good. I didn’t get a drink this time but there were so many interesting options. I haven’t tried the shrimp chips yet but I’m excited to later. Prices are fair as I imagine the cost goes up with importing. It was a little over $16 for what’s pictured. I’ll certainly be back again!
I found Ofuku by chance and I'm so happy they are here in San Antonio! Come for their freshly made on the go Japanese Hawaiian snacks. Their onigiris and musibis are so good and they come in a variety of toppings. Their bao offerings consist of sweet and savory options. They also have Japanese fruit sandos, which you can't find anywhere in San Antonio. Their food is amazing and the young owners are very friendly. Highly recommended!
It’s a fun little place. The boba tastes good and they have a cute little bar for different type of pearls and such. The snacks are yummy and easy to grab and go. I got 3 different onigiri but I loved the crispy chicken and mayo. They have my favorite packaged breads too! The Koriyama cheesecake and the melon pan are the best! The staff was friendly and we had a nice chat during checkout.
Went here with my boyfriend and the onigiri was so yummy! I got the spicy chicken, salmon, and spicy crab. Everything was so good! The two young men working there were also extremely nice and polite! Highly recommend!
